SOMBRERO SKINNY TEEN 0.08 MM – Instant fat sound on every snare and floor tom

The Sombrero is an accessory for immediate use, it rests on the snare drum or on the eardrum to obtain a Fat sound and lower the dominant note of the drum by about two tones, depending on the tuning.

The Sombrero is created with a super resistant technical fabric, with a metal frame that gives the right weight to be stable on the drum.

Unlike normal dampers, the Sombrero lowers the pitch of the drum giving depth to your sound and delighting every sound engineer.

Basically it’s like having a second snare drum at your fingertips with an instant gesture.

The Sombrero is equipped with a side tab to remove it more easily and with an immediate gesture.

On the snare drum, the Sombrero dries all the resonances, creating that warm and deep sound typical of the ’80s and’ 90s snare drums and thanks to the technical fabric of which it is made, it returns the same bounce as normal drumheads.

The sound effect obtained is similar to what you get by putting the classic towel on the snare drum but it allows you to make fast rolls and rimshots like normal skin.

On the eardrum, the Sombrero allows you to cancel the tail typical of the eardrum and have a dry sound, facilitating tuning.
