- Transparent, single ply 10 mil: the original Diamond sound, bright and defined, with the characteristic water-playing technique in mind.
- Red Lava, single ply 7 mil: thinner and more sensitive, with a quick, open response and a striking look.
- Camel Race, two-ply fibre skin 7 mil: the warmest of the three, closest to a natural skin, with deep bass and a soft attack.

The heads are built to the original Wambooka specifications with pre-formed reinforced edges, so they seat perfectly, tune evenly and swap in minutes. They fit the Wambooka Diamond and Ruby and any darbuka with an 8.75″ (22.5 cm) head.
