    Returns. Return any unused item within 14 days of delivery for a full refund. Damaged or wrong item? Send us a photo within 7 days and we replace it at our cost.

    Vintage Sand is a single-ply, 10 mil coated head with a removable dampening strip under the coating that absorbs the overtones you would otherwise chase with gels and tape. The result is a dry, warm, focused note that tunes fast and stays where you put it.

    Key benefits

    • No gels, no tape. Overtone control is built into the head, and you can remove the strip if you want it more open.
    • Ready for the studio and the stage. Dry enough for close mics, warm enough to sit with a band.
    • Wide tuning range. From a fat, low snare crack to a tight, punchy tom note.
